- Preheat waffle iron and light grease.
- Whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and chai spice.

- In another bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, milk, eggs, butter and vanilla until smooth.

- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until mixed.

- Cook on a waffle iron until golden and crisp.

- Serve with maple syrup, whipped cream, or candied pecans.

Notes
If you don't have chai spice on hand you can use:
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
