This easy creamy crab salad is made with imitation crab meat, mayonnaise, celery, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning. Perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or a simple lunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound imitation crab meat
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup celery finely chopped
  • 2 green onions finely sliced

Method
 

  1. Shred or cut imitation crab into bite sized pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, combine imitation crab, mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Sour cream adds extra creaminess but can be omitted.
  • Adjust Old Bay to taste depending on how bold you like it.
  • Best served chilled.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Not freezer friendly.
