Welcome to The Pickled Farmhouse.

I believe one of the greatest ways to love people is to feed them.

Whether it’s a warm loaf of fresh bread, a weeknight family dinner, a pie cooling on the counter, or a jar of pickles tucked away for winter, homemade food has a way of bringing people together. It creates memories around the table, celebrates life’s biggest moments, and comforts us through the hardest ones.

That’s what The Pickled Farmhouse is all about.

Hi, I’m Renee.

I’m the home cook, gardener, and recipe creator behind The Pickled Farmhouse. From my kitchen in Maryland, I share the homemade recipes my family loves, along with seasonal inspiration for gardening, canning, baking, and simple farmhouse living.

Some recipes are here because they’ve been passed down through generations. Others were created after plenty of trial and error in my own kitchen. Every single one is tested with one goal in mind: helping you put something delicious on the table for the people you love.

Food isn’t just food. Sometimes it’s comfort. Sometimes it’s celebration. Sometimes it’s simply telling someone, “I love you,” without saying a word.

That’s the heart behind every recipe you’ll find here.

Whether you’re planning a holiday meal, baking your first loaf of bread, preserving your summer harvest, or looking for an easy dinner after a long day, I hope you’ll find recipes that become part of your own family’s story.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Welcome to my farmhouse kitchen.
